The FA: AFA & LONSAR is “well-run and progressive” society

We are delighted to announce that the RA-FA have selected the AFA & Lonsar Referees’ Society as one of only 18 pilot Training Hubs nationally. AFA tirelessly promotes the development of Football Referees London.

This is a great accolade for us, recognising that we are a “well-run and progressive” Society. This is the result of demonstrating a high level of commitment to delivering practical training successfully.

These Hubs are the vehicles through which the Football Association in conjunction with the Referees’ Association will deliver development opportunities to all referees nationwide as part of the new National Strategy for Referees.

As one of England’s largest Referee’ Society, we take pride in the training and social activities we deliver for our members.

We pledge to continue improving the offer to our members and extend the hand of friendship to all referees who strive to improve their game.

Please note our next FA co-sponsored event will take place on 10 November.

The training session will be delivered by Vince Penfold, an FA licensed Tutor, and will cover DOGSO within the context of recent changes to the Laws of the Game.

We are expecting an attendance of at least 100 referees to attend. Please book your place today.
