As has become a tradition, AFA and LONSAR are proud to welcome all London Football Referees to a practical training session on Thursday, 12 October at Alexandra Park.

We are particularly proud to be cosponsoring this training eevent with the Referee Development Fund.

This is a great opportunity for Society members and others to engage in further practical outdoor training scenarios for all referees with emphasis on involvement for younger referees

Outcome: Hands-on opportunity to try different techniques used by senior referees to increase exposure to managing challenging players and match situations in a non-threatening environment

What is on offer:

  • Early Bird session starts at – 18:00 – outdoors for people who arrive just before 18:00 hours
  • Free Hot Meal offered from 19:00
  • Indoor workshops start from 19:30

Who is delivering the sessions?

There is a list of FA tutors who will potentially deliver the sessions: John Cooke, John Spoerry, Deryll David, Peter Georgiou, Keith Hiller, Steve Tate, Stan Rosenthal, Chad Chaudhuri

Food & Drinks:

As ever Serge offers best Chicken Curry – served with potatoes, parsnips, peas, pumpkin, peppers (subject to avaiability)
